MARKERS

What are Markers?

Markers are large maps of your cutting table layout that get laid upon your stack of fabric for cutting. They are a computerized version of the antiquated method of your cutter laying down your pattern pieces one by one by hand on cutting day.

Why do I want markers?

• Markers determine the yardage of each fabrication you must have on hand for your production
• Markers ensure the most efficient use of your raw goods
• Markers provide you with an historical reference for your cut in production
• Markers may be used over and over season after season, depending on changes made between cuts

What is a Marker Summary™?

A Marker Summary™ is a summary that provides a snapshot of your production and includes all the information that you and your production facility need to carry out the order. SPS sends a Marker Summary™ to the factory with every batch of markers.

We work with you and your production facility to maximize fabric utilization, minimize cutting time, and provide you with the quantities of each style you require.
